Arborist Services of Kalamazoo, LLC is a locally owned company helping property owners manage tree and shrub condition in landscapes, woodlots and gardens. Our ISA Certified Arborists perform evaluation services and a complete array of contracted services for trees and shrubs of all sizes.

Evaluation Service is performed by scheduled appointment with an ISA Certified Arborist for a fee based on location to provide a verbal opinion of:

  • tree and shrub species and condition
  • microclimate and soil characteristics
  • factors limiting tree or shrub condition 
  • best care practices
  • course of action for planned care or to propose contracted services

Contracted Services are performed by ISA Certified Arborists from an accepted proposal. Proposals for contracted services are developed from an evaluation service appointment or, a scheduled appointment without evaluation service, and include:

  • pruning
  • removal
  • planting
  • tree risk management
  • plant disorder treatment
  • written opinions


Our ISA Certified Arborists perform all services in accordance with the American National Standard for Tree Care Operations (ANSI A300) and Safety Requirements for Arboricultural Operations (ANSI Z133) and the MIOSHA General Industry Standard for Tree Trimming and Removal (Part 53).  An ISA Certified Arborist obtains and holds their credential from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and are required to demonstrate:

  • qualification through years of experience and/or education
  • passing of an extensive exam
  • documented continuing education
